About the Event
The Neutral Mask is a foundational training tool in Jacques Lecoq's pedagogy of physical theatre, designed to cultivate presence, awareness and expressive movement. In this one-day workshop, participants will explore the principles of physical theatre through neutral mask practice, developing greater sensitivity to body, space and movement. By embracing stillness, simplicity and intention, you'll discover how to communicate with clarity and authenticity before character, text or emotion are introduced. Suitable for performers, movers and creatives of all experience levels, this workshop offers a practical introduction to one of the most influential approaches to physical theatre training.
